Delegation Visits

In the summer of 2011, joined by County Supervisor Dave Cortese and Supervisor Ken Yeager, the County of Santa Clara, California, USA / Hsinchu County, Taiwan Sister County Commission delegation visited Hsinchu County and several other cities and counties in Taiwan. The delegation was led by Sister County Commission Chair Melanie Hsu and included Director of the County Office of Public Affairs and Sister County Commissioners.

In March 2007, the County of Santa Clara, California, USA / Hsinchu County, Taiwan Sister County Commission delegation visited Hsinchu County and several other cities and counties in Taiwan. The delegation was led by the Sister County Commission Chair William Mayhood and included Director of the County Office of Public Affairs and Sister County Commissioners.

In August 2004, a delegation of officials from Hsinchu County, Taiwan were guests of the County of Santa Clara during a recent cultural visit to the United States. The delegation was led by County Magistrate Yung-Chin Cheng and included Director of the Hsinchu County Civil Affairs Department, Board Chairman of Hsinchu Girl Scouts, Manager of the Journalism Department of Hsinchu County, Chief Counselor, Counselor, and former Hsinchu County Council Member.  The Hsinchu Hakka Dance Group also performed at the Chinese Cultural Center.
