Happy Lunar New Year 2018

In celebration of the 2018 Chinese Lunar New Year, the County of Santa Clara, CA, USA/Hsinchu County, Taiwan Sister County Commission is hosting an exhibition of the “Year of the Dog” posters created by Bay Area youth. The winning artwork of the Association of Northern California Chinese Schools’ Annual Poster Contest will be on display in the breezeway of the County Government Center, 70 W. Hedding St., San Jose.

Poster contest winners were honored at the award ceremony by supervisor Dave Cortese, County of Santa Clara;  Joseph Ma, Director General, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office San Francisco; Vicky Chu, Chairperson, Santa Clara County, CA, USA /Hsinchu County, Taiwan Sister County commission; and Guang-Ting Shih, President, Association of Northern California Chinese Schools.

 

The two-week exhibition begins on Feb. 14 with an opening/award ceremony at 4 p.m.
